A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
HONORING B. J. THOMPSON
WHEREAS,
the City Manager is selected by the City Council
to be the Chief Administrative Officer of the
administrative branch of City government; and
WHEREAS,
the City Manager shall be responsible for the
proper administration of all affairs within the
City; and
WHEREAS,
the City Manager, as stated in the City Charter,
shall be vigilant and active in causing all pro-
visions of the law to be executed and shall per-
form such duties, as instructed by the City Coun-
cil, efficiently and effectively;
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA that B. J. Thompson has duti-
fully served as City Manager for the City of
Santa Ana, and his service and dedication in ful-
filling these duties are hereby acknowledged with
sincere appreciation by the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana.
