RESOLUTION NO. 80-44
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AFFIRMING THE DECISION
OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION GRANTING VARIANCE
APPLICATION NO. 79-49
WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held before the City
Council of the City of Santa Ana on February 19, 1980, on
the action taken by the Planning Commission in granting
Variance Application No. 79-49, which application seeks to
allow a Christian fellowship hall and offices in an existing
building which has parking for industrial uses at 1701 East
Edinger in the M1 District; and
WHEREAS, prior to taking action on said Variance
Application, this Council has reviewed and considered the
Negative Declaration for the project, including Initial
Study No. IS 79-199.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That based on such public hearing and on the
oral and documentary evidence submitted therein, the City
Council does hereby affirm the action of the Planning Commission
in Granting Variance Application No. 79-49, subject to the
same limitations and requirements.
2. That the City Council hereby adopts as its
findings of fact for approval of Variance Application No.
79-49 that certain "Finding of Fact, Variance Application
79-49," prepared and submitted by the Planning Commission,
on file in the Office of the Clerk of the Council, and
incorporated by reference herein as though fully set forth.
3. For the reasons set forth in the Negative
Declaration prepared for this project, the Council approves
and adopts the said Negative Declaration and its finding
that the project will not have a significant effect on the
environment.
