A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO CHANGE THE CLASS
TITLE OF PLAM EXAMINER TO PLAN EXAMINER II AND TO ADD
THE NEW CLASS TITLE OF PLAN EXAMINER I
WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolu-
tion No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for
all officers and employees of the City of Santa Aha; and
WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa
Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classi-
fication and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations and the
approval of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution;
and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to change the title of an existing class and to
add a new class title to the City's Classification and Pay Plan:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana:
1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby further
amended by:
a. Changing the class title of Plan Examiner to PI~kN EXAMINER II; and
b. Adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the class title of PLAN
EXAMINER I; and
c. Assigning, in accordance with the current two-year salary adjust-
ment plan, the new class of Plan Examiner I to the salary rate ranges on the
effective dates as next herein set out:

2. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after April 1, 1980.
