A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANAAMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO ADD
SEVERAL CLASS TITLES TO THE CITY'S BASIC CLASSI-
FICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN
WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution
No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Classification and Compensation
Plan for all officers and employees of the City of Santa Ana; and
krHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ana
requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification
and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations and the approval of the
City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to add several new classes to said Basic Classifica-
tion and Compensation Plan for the purpose of classifying certain "contract" positions
and reclassifying certain other positions authorized and included in he current annual
budget accounts pertaining to Redevelopment Agency, Community Development and Economic
Development Funds and Activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana:
1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby further
amended by:
a. Adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the following class titles
and assigning to them the salary rate ranges and salaryadjustment schedule as next
hereinafter set out:

Unrepresented Middle Management by adding the parenthetical identifier (MM) next
to following the class title.
2. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after April 16, 1980.
