A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO ADD THE TITLE OF SENIOR
TRANSPORTATION PLANNER AND TO DESIGNATE SAID NEW CLASS AS
UNREPRESENTED MIDDLE-MANAGEMENT
WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958 the City Council passed and adopted
Resolution No. 58-281, revising and reestablishing the basic compensation
plans for all officers and employees of the City of Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article × of the City Charter of the City
of Santa Aha requires the City Manager to prepare, install, and maintain a
position classification and pay plan subject to Civil Service rules and
regulations and the approval of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said
Resolution; and
WHEREAS, in order to properly provide for the increased manage-
ment level Transportation Engineering responsibilities as related to the
greatly expanded role of Transportation Planning within the City of Santa Ana;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA:
1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby
further amended by:
a. Adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the new class
title of Senior Transportation Planner at Salary Rate Range
No. 482, $2190-$2663, effective July 7, 1980.
b. Designating said new class as Unrepresented Middle-Management
by adding the parenthetical identifier (MM) next to
the class title.
2. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after
July 7, 1980.
