RESOLUTION NO. 82- 1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DECLARING ITS
INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF
SYCAMORE STREET BETWEEN THIRD STREET
AND FOURTH STREET, SETTING A PUBLIC
HEARING THEREON, AND DIRECTING NOTICE
THEREOF TO BE POSTED AND PUBLISHED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA:
1. Pursuant to and in accordance with Chapter 3
of Part 3, of DivisiQn 9 of the Street and Highways Code of
the State of California, this Council does hereby declare
its intention to vacate that certain portion of Sycamore
Street, and all public service easements therein, located
between Third Street and Fourth Street, as described on
"Exhibit A," attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference.
2. Notice is hereby given that at the hour of
7:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard
on February 1, 1982, in the Council Chambers of the City of
Santa Ana, 20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Aha, California, a
public hearing will be held by this Council at which time
any and all persons interested in or objecting to the
proposed vacation hereinabove described may appear and be
heard.
3. The Clerk of the Council is hereby directed
to cause this Resolution to be published twice, once in each
of the two successive weeks prior to the abovesaid hearing,
in "The Register," a newspaper of general circulation in the
City.
4. The Director of Public Works is hereby
directed to post conspicuously, in the manner prescribed by
law, notice of the adoption of this Resolution, containing
the statement of the day, hour and place of hearing

hereinabove set forth, and describing the street to be
vacated, along the line of the said street at least two
weeks before the date set for said hearing.

All that certain portion of Sycamore Street in the City of Santa Ana, County
of Orange, State of California, as shown on that certain map of the Town of
Santa Ana, recorded in Book 2, page 51, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County, bounded Southerly by the North line of Third Street, 60 feet wide, as
shown on said map, and bounded Northerly by a line parallel with and distant
Northerly 140 feet, measured at right angles, from said North line of Third
Street.
