RESOLUTION NO. 81-41
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
FIXING AND ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION
FOR THE OFFICE OF CLERK OF THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA:
1. That the salary for the office of the Clerk of
the Council for the City of Santa Ana is hereby fixed and
established at $3,120.00 per month, and that said salary
shall be paid in the same manner and at the same times as
other monthly salaries in the city are paid.
2. That the city shall pay to the Public Employees'
Retirement System, on behalf of the Clerk of the Council, an
amount equal to five percent (5%) times the compensation
upon which such retirement contributions are calculated.
Such payments are not considered as part of or an increase
in base salary.
3. That in addition to the compensation and benefits
specified above, said officer shall receive any and all
benefits accorded unrepresented Executive Management employees
of the city who are miscellaneous members of the Public
Employees' Retirement System.
4. That this Resolution shall be operative from
and after April 1, 1981 , upon which date Resolution
No. 80-66 and any and all other resolutions of this Council
inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
