On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Brewer and carried, the Affidavit of
Publication of "Notice of Intention to Circulate Petition for 8nnexation of terri-
tory to the City of Santa ~na, California~' designated "Seventeenth and Wright
Streets N. E. Annex," was received and filed.

The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
Counc~l~,n Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the following Resolution en-
t it led:
"Resolution No. 60-70 acknowledging receipt of Affidavit of
Publication of Intention to Circulate Petition for annex-
etlon to the City of Santa ~na, and accompanying statement,
and approving circulation of petition in territory nominated
'Seventeenth and Wright Streets N.E. Annex""
was considered and passed by the following vote:

Commmmication was read from the Planning Commission recce~ending approval of pro-
posed annexation to the City of Santa Aha of territory bounded on the north by the
Garden Grove Freeway, on the east by Yorba Street, on the south by Seventeenth
Street, and on the west by santiago Street, but excluding that portion bounded by
Tustin Avenue, Seventeenth Street, Yorba Street and Santa Clara Avenue, consisting
of approximately 900 acres, designated "Seventeenth and Wright Streets N.E.~nnex."
On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the commmanication
was received and filed.
Ccmmunicatic~ was read from the Planning Commission recom~anding approval of pro-
posed annexation to the City of Santa ~ns of territory located roughl~v 100 feet
north of Grovemont Street, extending between Santiago and Lincoln Streets, consist-
ing of approximately ten acres, designated "Lincoln and Virginia West Annex." On
motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the communication was
received and filed.
On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the oral request
of the Manager was approved to transfer an appropriation in the amount of $2,500.00!i
from ll-O00-911 CitY Council Contingency Reserve Fund to 2~-212-B99 Contract Ser-
vices NOC Library Fund, for moving expenses of the Library.

On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the oral request
of the Manager was approved to transfer an appropriation in the amount of $3,550.0~
from 11-O00-911 City Council Contingency Reserve Fund to 11-11.2-523 CitY Council
Insurance Premium, to cover the cost of faithful performance bonds for the City.
