RESOLUTION NO. 81-54
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE
ORANGE COUNTY ARTS ALLIANCE PLANNING
PROCESS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN
ORANGE COUNTY CULTURAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the Orange County Arts Alliance is in the
process of developing a long-range comprehensive plan for
cultural growth within the Orange County, and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana agrees with the
goal of improving the quality of life of all its citizens by
increasing cultural awareness and activities so that
cultural growth becomes a natural part of everyday activity,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana recognizes the
benefits of county-life coordination and cooperation in
cultural planning, and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is satisfied with
the fair and dispersed participation and representation of
arts, artists, art organizations and local constituents in
the process of developing and documenting the needs, goals
and objectives for cultural growth within Orange County,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
the City of Santa Ana that the City Council approves of
Orange County Arts Alliance planning process for the
development of an Orange County cultural plan.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is
hereby authorized and directed to send a certified copy of
the resolution to the Orange County Arts Alliance.
