A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO ADD THE CLASS TITLE OF
FLEET SERVICES MANAGER AND TO DESIGNATE SAID NEW CLASS AS
UNREPRESENTED MIDDLE-MANAGEMENT
WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution
No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for all officers
and employees of the City of Santa Aha; and
WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa
Aha requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classifi-
cation and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations and the approval
of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to further amend said Basic Classification and
Compensation Plan by adding a new middle-management class to replace the out-dated
class of Equipment Maintenance Superintendent.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana:
1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby further
amended by:
a. Adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the new class title of FLEET
SERVICES MANAGER at Salary Rate Range No. 491, $2288-$2782 per month.
b. Designating said new class as unrepresented M/ddle-Management by
adding the parenthetical identifier (MM) next to following the class title.
2. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after April 1, 1981.
