RESOLUTION NO. 81-71
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA WITHDRAWING THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA FROM THE ORANGE COUNTY
CRIMINAL JUSTICE COUNCIL
WHEREAS, Congress has eliminated the program of
local level management of federal funding pursuant to the
Justice System Improvement Act by not providing funding; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Criminal Justice
Council, in recognition thereof, has determined to dissolve
itself;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City of Santa Ana hereby withdraws
from the Orange County Criminal Justice Council, effective
six months from the date hereof.
2. That the Clerk of the Council is directed to
send a copy of the Resolution to all parties to the contract
creating the Orange County Criminal Justice Council.
