RESOLUTION NO. 81-72
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AFFIRMING THE
DECISION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
DENYING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
NO. 81-5 AND DENYING APPEAL NO. 436
FOR PROPERTY AT 2222 E. FIRST STREET
WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held before the
City Council of the City of Santa Ana on the action taken by
the Planning Commission in denying Conditional Use Permit
No. 81-5, which application seeks to allow a care home for
mentally retarded persons in an existing motel at 2222 East
First Street in the C5 District~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That based on such public hearing and the
oral and documentary evidence submitted therein, the City
Council does hereby affirm the action of the Planning
Commission in denying Conditional Use Permit No. 81-5, and
deny Appeal No. 436.
2. That the City Council hereby adopts as its
findings of fact for denial of Conditional Use Permit No. 81-
5, that certain "Finding of Fact, Conditional Use Permit No.
81-5," prepared and submitted by the Planning Commission, on
file in the office of the Clerk of the Council, and
incorporated by reference herein as though fully set forth.
