A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ESq]ABLISHING
A UNIFC~ SCHEDULE OF FEES AND
REPEALING RESOLUPION NO. 80-102
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana performs special services for the
benefit of a limited number of persons to ~ncm such services are of value; and
WHEREAS, the cost of rendering such services should be borne by that
limited group who are the beneficiaries rather than the citizenry at large; and
WHEREAS, the City ~ouncil is of the opinion also that the charges
established for such services should equate to the direct cost thereof to the
City of Santa Ana;
NCW, ~HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA: That the foll~ing fees for services and miscellaneous sales are
hereby fixed and established, to be effective from and after the first day of
July, 1981:

Since the preparation and processing time required by the Clerk of the
council staff to duplicate council minutes, ordinances, and resolutions
exceeds the current collected fees, it is proposed that xeroxing fees
for the Clerk of the Council Department be raised to $1.25 for the
first page, and .10~ for any subsequent pages. It takes approximately
10 minutes to research and find the requested materials to be duplicated.

unusual types of public assembly events and by some motion picture studios
filming on location. An unusual event that would require more than two

All classes offered by the City of Santa Ana R~creation and Parks De-
partment will be conducted on a 6 to 8 week format. Charges for each

City of Santa Ana will receive 20% of the total fees collected from
each leisure and instructional class co-sponsored by the Santa Ana
Recreation and Parks Department.

FEE FOR RESERVATION OF RECREATIONAL C~fERS
Recreation Centers may be reserved by any group or organization when
official City meetings, hearings, or City sponsored recreational
activities are not previously scheduled.
Tnere will be a rental charge for all other users of $15.00 per hour,
plus $5.00/hr. supervision charge made payable to the City of Santa
Ana. Groups charging an entry fee or donation will have an additional
rental fee of 10% of gross monies collected, unless as a non-profit
organization. If the organization does not meet the definition of
"charitable" or "religious" as defined in Chapter 26 of the Santa Ana
Municipal Code, and does not have a non-profit I.R.S. number, it will
be classified as profit making and must pay the additional 10% fee.
There will be a $100.00 cleaning deposit charged per rental.

Copies of maps, diagr~mls, graphs or special work may be furnished upon
the payment of the cost of printing and preparation. For such items
for which a regular established p~ice is unavailable, the Department
Head, in collaboration with the Director of Finance may establish a
price consistent with the cost of printing and preparation thereof.
The Director of Finance shall report such exceptions to the City Mana-
ger. It shall be the responsibility of the City Manager to review such
costs annually and make such rec~L,L~ndations to the City Couscil as
required to keep the changes consistent with the costs. All govern-
mental agencies and their official representatives shall be ex~L~p~ from
paying these charges for single copies for official use.
