RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL ORDERING THE WORK
AND IMPROVEMENTS, TOGETHER WITH APPURTENANCES,
IN A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT D~STRICT.
WHEREAS, the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA (hereinafte~
referred to as "Agency"), has instituted proceedings and conducted a Publ
Hearing for the construction of certain public works of improvement, to
with appurtenances and appurtenant work in connection therewith, incl
acquisition where necessary, in a special assessment district pursuant the
terms and provisions of the "Improvement Act of.1911", being Division the
Streets and Highways Code, in a special assessment district and
designated as
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 244
(ANAHURST PLACE)
(hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment District").
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 That the above recitals are all true and

That the public interest and conv~ require the work and
improvements hereinafter be done, and therefore
said Agency hereby orders the g work to be done and

PLANS SPECIFICATIONS
SECTION 3.
For further ars, reference is hereby made to the
Resolution of ion previously adopted by Agency, and to
the plans and wings for said improvement on file in the
Office of the i~nee~, and to the specifications for said work
heretofore adc by Agency and on file in the Office of the
Engineer, an all of sa}d plans, draw}ngs and specifications
heretofore by Agency are incorporated herein and made a

SECTION 4.

BONDS
SECTION 5.
That this Agency has determined and declared that Serial Bonds
bearin9 interest at the rate oF TEN percent (10%) per annum,
extending over a period ending NINE (9) YEARS from the 2nd day
of January next succeeding the next September 1st following
their date, wil) be issued hereunder in the manner as provided
by the "Improvement Act oF 1911", being Part 5 of Division 7 of
the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, to
represent each assessment of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00)
or more remaining unpaid for thirty (30) days after date oF
mailin9 by the contractor or his assigns of the statement to
property owners pursuant to Section 5390 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California.
PROCEEDINGS
SECTION 6.
That all of the work herein ordered shall be done and carried
through pursuant to an Act of the legislature of the State of
California designated the "Improvement Act of 19l)", being
Parts l, 2 and 3 of Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of California.
