A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA APPOINTING
SPECIAL BOND COUNSEL FOR PROPOSED ASSESS-
MENT DISTRICT NO. 246
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana,
by Resolution No. 81-~9 , adopted July 20 , 1981,
declared its intention to order the acquisition, construc-
tion and financing of certain public improvements and to
issue improvement bonds to represent unpaid assessments in
Assessment District No. 246, all pursuant to the Municipal
Improvement Act of 1913 and the Improvement Bond Act of
1915, as described in said Resolution of Intention; and
WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will
be served thereby;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
The Firm of Rutan & Tucker, Attorneys at Law, is desig-
nated Special Bond Counsel with respect to the assessment
proceedings herein and is employed to perform all legal work
relating to said assessment proceedings.

1981, by the following vote:
AYES: Acosta, Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, McGuigan, Serrato
NOES: Markel
