RESOLUTION NO. 81-128
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA CONSENTING TO THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF SEGERSTROM AVENUE WITHIN
THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
AS A COUNTY HIGHWAY DURING THE PERIOD OF
IMPROVEMENT THEREOF BY THE COUNTY OF ORANGE
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article 3,
Chapter 9, Division 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of
the State of California, the Board of Supervisors of Orange
County, by its Resolution No. 81-955, dated June 23, 1981,
has declared all that portion of Segerstrom Avenue within
the city limits of the City of Santa Ana to be a county
highway, during the period in which the said County of
Orange proposes to make minor improvements to the portion of
said Segerstrom Avenue adjacent to the bridge across the
Santa Ana River;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council hereby consents to the
establishment of Segerstrom Avenue within the City limits of
the City of Santa Ana as a county highway during the
abovesaid period of construction, in accordance with the
declaration of the Board of Supervisors of Orange County as
set forth in its Resolution No. 81-955.
2. That the Clerk of the Council be and is
authorized and directed to transmit to the Board of
Supervisors of Orange County a certified copy of this
Resolution.
