RESOLUTION NO. 81- 133
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA ACCEPTING THE WITH-
DRAWAL OF THE CITY OF CHINO FROM THE
INTER-COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, on or about June 1, 1974, the following
cities became participants in the agreement entitled JOINT
POWERS AGREEMENT OF 1974 BETWEEN THE CITY OF STANTON; THE
CITY OF CHINO; THE CITY OF GARDEN GROVE; THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA; AND OTHER PARTICIPATING CITIES CREATING THE INTER-
COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY; and
WHEREAS, on November 20, 1973, the City of Chino
by Resolution No. 1854, became a member of the Inter-County
Airport Authority; and
WHEREAS, on January 16, 1979, the City of Chino,
acting through its City Council on motion, choose to
withdraw from the Inter-County Airport Authority, effective
immediately; and
WHEREAS, the Inter-County Airport Authority and
the member agencies thereof, have been notified of that
determination,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA that the City of Santa Ana does
hereby acknowledge the action taken by the City of Chino and
does accept the withdrawal of the City of Chino from further
participation in that certain agreement between the parties
dated June 1, 1974.
