RESOLUTION NO. 81-148
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA OVERRULING THE ZONING
ADMINISTRATOR'S DENIAL OF MINOR EXCEPTION
APPLICATION 81-27, GRANTING APPEAL NO.
454 AND APPROVING MINOR EXCEPTION NO. 81-27
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 414 NORTH EUCLID
WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held before the
City Council on September 8, 1981, on the action taken by the
Zoning Administrator in denying Minor Exception Application
No. 81-27, which application seeks to allow sale of beer and
wine for on and off-site comsumption in an existing restaurant-
meat market at 414 North Euclid Street, in the C1 District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That based on such public hearing and the oral
and documentary evidence submitted therein, the City Council
does hereby reverse the action of the Zoning Administrator,
grant Appeal No. 454, and approve Minor Exception No. 81-27.
2. That the City Council adopts as its findings
of fact and conditions of approval for the approval of the
said Minor Exception that certain report entitled "Finding of
Fact, Minor Exception 81-27,: submitted by the Zoning Admin-
istrator and on file in the office of the Clerk of the Council
with the exception that "Reason for Decision" (a) therein is
amended to read as follows:
"The proposed use is desirable as con-
tributing to the general well-being of
the neighborhood, as existing establish-
ments in the area do not make up a very
heavy concentration of liquor licenses."
and "Reason for Decision" (b) therein is amended to read as
follows:
"The surrounding area is such that the
proposed use will not be detrimental to
the health, safety, or general welfare
of persons or injurious to property or
improvements.
