RESOLUTION NO. 81-200
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING IN R~M
VALIDATION PROCEEDINC~ WITH RESPECT TO
INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BONDS
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana, California, as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
proposes to issue bonds pursuant to an authorization
therefor in Ordinance No. NS-1609 adopted by the City
Council on November 16, 1981; and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance provides that an action
may be brought pursuant to Chapter 9 (commencing with
Section 860) of Title 10 of Part 2 of the Code of Civil
Procedure to determine the validity of bonds and of all
proceedings theretofore taken and proposed to be taken for
the authorization, issuance, sale and delivery of the bonds
and for the payment of the principal thereof and interest
thereon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA that the law firm of Jones Hall
Hill & White, a Professional Law Corporation, Bond Counsel
to the City, is hereby authorized and directed to initiate
and prosecute to conclusion an action pursuant to Section
860 and following of the Code of Civil Procedure of the
State of California for the purpose of establishing the
validity of said Ordinance and bonds prior to their
issuance.
