On motion of CounciLman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the Affidavit
of Publication of NOtice of Intention to Circulate Petition for annexation
of territory to the City of Santa Ana, California, designated "Fairhaven and
Esplanade West Annex," was received and filed.
The Council having nnanlmously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion
of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Resolution
entitled:
"Resolution No. 6.0-229 acknowledging the receipt of a copy
of Notice of Intention to ~irculate Petition For Annexa-
tion of TerritOry to Santa Ana, accompanying statement
and Affidavit of Publication thereof and approving the
circulation of the petition"
of certain territory designated "Fairhaven and Esplanade West Annex," was con-
sidered and passed by the following vote:

It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, that Escrow
Instructions dated November 8, 1960, be approved and signed with Lincoln Savings
and Loan Association for the sale of the Old Library site located at the north-

Site", Fifth and
Sycamore Sts.
west corner of Fifth and Sycamore Streets~ in the' sum of $101,700.00.
Councilman Heinly arrived at 5:05 P.M.
The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion
of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and Carried, the following Resolution
entitled:
"Resolution No. 60-230 authorizing execution of deed after
public sale of 'Old Library Site'"
to Lincoln Savings and Loan AssociatiOn, a California Corporation, was
and passed by the following vote:
