RESOLUTION NO. 8249
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA TO PROVIDE A MAXIMUM OF
EIGHTY-FIVE (85) PARKING SPACES IN THE
28 CIVIC CENTER PLAZA PARKING FACILITY
WHEREAS, the State of California needs up to
eighty-five (85) parking stalls to park official cars on a
monthly basis; and
WHEREAS, the Civic Center Authority does not
propose to provide for any monthly parking in the major
Civic Center parking lot; and
WHEREAS, the City-operated parking lot for
official cars (referred to as the "28 Civic Center Plaza
Parking Facility") still has many vacancies.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana resolves that the Mayor is authorized to execute,
on behalf of the City, that certain "Standard Agreement"
between the State of California and the City of Santa Ana
providing for the rental of up to 85 parking spaces in the
28 Civic Center Plaza Parking Facility, a copy of which is
on file in the office of the Clerk of the Council.
ADOPTED this ]6th day of February , 1982.
