on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried.

On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the low bid of
George Dunton, Inc. was accepted for Item A, One, two-ton Truck Chassis with Cab,
in the total amount of $2,955.14, and Item C, Two, one-ton Truck Chassis with Cab,
in the total amount of $~,104.60; and the low bid of L. D. Coffing Company was
accepted for Item B, One, one-ton Truck Chasst~witb Cab and Stake Body, in the
total amount of $2,100.57, aud all other bids rejected. On motion of Councilman

This being the date set for hearing protests to change the boundary lines of Wards
as required by Section 101.2 of the Charter, and there being no protests, ~n motion
of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Ordinance
entitled:
"Ordinance changing and establishing the boundary lines of the
Wards of the City of Santa Aha as required by Section lO1.2
of the Charter"
was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading.
This being the date set for hearing on the annexation of property consisting of
approximately 20 acres, extending approximately 1400 feet south of Delhi Road and
a short distance north of Delhi Road, approximately 203 feet west of the County
Flood Control Channel; no protests were received and the hearing was closed. On

has requested the Council to vacate and mband~n because of a change in the align-
ment of McFadden Street.
On motion of Council,~u Hubbard seconded by Gould and carried, the Resolution adopted
by the Planning Commission was received and filed,advising it is their intention
hold a hearing on December 27, in order to prezone all property within the "Fair-
haven and Esplanade West Annex" and the "Vanderlip and Newport Northwest ~nnex."
On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, Tentative Tract
Map No. 4040, filed by Southern Construction Company, creating 20 lots located
west of the intersection of Washington Avenue and King Street and 12th and King
Streets, was approved, subject to conditions.
On motion of Council,mn Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, Map of Tract No.
3943, filed by Ronald A. and Burdette M. Karos, and Kenneth W. and Mildred E. White~
land, for dedication of Santiago Street, Buffalo Avenue, Poinsettia Street and

objected to the access limitations, the requirement of the alley, and the cul-de-sa
on the northerly side of the property. Councilman Heinly arrived at 8:10 P.M.

located on the south side of Willlts Street, between Sullivan and Fairview Streets, I
subject to conditions. Virgil Paxton, 513 So. Sullivan Street, stated his property
faces Sullivan Street and requested that a fence be erected along said street.
Bert Hoffman, 1206 So. Birch Street, stated his grove is to the south of the pro-
posed development, and inquired if a fence could be built to protect his orange
grove. On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, Revised

to be furnished to Tract No. 3741, being a ten-acre parcel located on North Wright
Street adjacent to the City boundary, wherein Subdivider agrees to make such de-
posits as are required by the City to cover its expense in providing and connectln~i
