A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF TRAINING
PROGRAM PARTICIPATION AGREEMENTS WITH THE
CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL
WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of Calif-
ornia Highway Patrol requires written training agreements from
any agency participating in their training programs; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department of the City of Santa Ana
desires from time to time to participate in certain traing pro-
grams sponsored and administered by the Department of California
Highway Patrol; and
WHEREAS, a resolution of the Santa Ana City Council auth-
orizing execution of participation agreements by the Chief of Police
is required for the 1982-1983 fiscal year.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Santa Ana that the Chief of Police is hereby authorized
and directed to execute such training participation agreements as and
when required for the fiscal year 1982 through 1983.
ADOPTED this 19th day of July , 1982.
