RESOLUTION NO. 82- 107
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR
OF BOWERS MUSEUM TO ACCEPT GIFTS AND TO
ENHER INTO LOAN AGREEMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE
CITY WHEN THE EXPENDITURE HO THE CITY DOES
NOT EXCEED TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS
WHEREAS, it is desirable that the Director of
Bowers Museum have the power to accept gifts on behalf of
the Museum subject to ratification by the Board of Trustees
in order to facilitate and encourage such donations, es-
pecially near the close of a tax year; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable that the Director of
Bowers Museum have the power to negotiate and execute
agreements regarding the loan of exhibition materials to and
from the Museum when the expenditure does not exceed two
hundred dollars ($200.00).
NOWt HHEREFORE, BE IH RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Council hereby delegates authority
to the Director of the Bowers Museum to accept gifts and
donations to the Bowers Museum subject to ratification of
such acceptance by the Bowers Museum Board of Trustees, and
to negotiate and execute agreements regarding loans of ex-
hibition materials to and from Museum, in any case where the
expenditure by the City does not exceed two hundred dollars
($200.00).
