A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY ODUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SkNTA ANA ESTABLISHING
A UNIFOI~M S(~EDULE OF FEES AND
REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 81-93
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana performs special services for the
benefit of a limited number of persons to whom such services are of value; and
WHEREAS, the cost of rendering such services should be borne by that
limited group who are the beneficiaries rather than the citizenry at large; and
WHEREAS, the City Oouncil is of the opinion also that the charges
established for such services should equate to the direct cost thereof to the
City of Santa Ana;

All classes offered by the City of Santa Ana Recreation and P~ks
Department will be conducted on a 6 to 8 week format. Charges for each
class taken will be based on instructor and staff recommendations. ~he
City of Santa Ana will receive 20% of the total fees collected from each
leisure and instructional class co-sponsored by the Santa Ana Recreation
and Parks Department.

FEE FOR RESERVATION OF RECREATIONAL C~TERS
l~creation Centers may be reserved by any group or organization when
official City meetings, bearin s, or City sponsored recreational
activities are not previously scheduled.
There will be a rental charge for all other uses of $15.00 per hour,
plus $5.00/hr supervision charge made payable to the City of Santa
Ana. G~oups charging an entry fee or donation will have an additional
rental fee of 10% of gross monies collected, unless as a non-profit
organization. If the organization doss not meet the definition of
"charitable" or "religious" as defined in Chapter 26 of the Santa Ana
Municipal Code, and does not have a non-profit I.R.S. number, it will
be classified as profit making and must pay the additional 10% fee.
There will be a $100.00 cleaning deposit charged per rental.

Copies of maps, diagr~m~s, graphs or special work may be furnished upon
the payment of the ~ost of printing and preparation. For such items
for which a regular established price is unavailable, the Department
Head, in collaboration with the Director of Finance may establish a
price consistent with the cost of printing and preparation thereof.
~he Director of Finance shall report such exceptioD~ to the City Manager.
It shall be the respensibility of the City Manager to review such costs
annually and make such recommendations to the City Council as required
to keep the changes consistent with the costs. All governmental agen-
cies and their official representatives shall be exempt from paying
these charges for single copies for official use.
Resolution No. 81-93, adopted on June 15, 1981 is repealed.
