A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
IMPLEMENTING THE MANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE BONUS PLAN
FOR THE OFFICE OF CLERK OF THE COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 82-110 of the City of Santa Ana establishes
a Performance Bonus Plan ("Plan") for officers and employees of the City of
Santa Aha employed in classes designated as unrepresented Executive Manage-
ment; and
WHEREAS, said Plan requires evaluation of performance of each such
employee on an annual basis; and
WHEREAS, each such employee who has met or exceeded the special
performance criteria as established may be granted an annual performance
bonus in an amount not to exceed eight (8%) percent of his or her annual
rate of salary; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 82-60 of the City of Santa Ana provides
that the office of Clerk of the Council shall receive any and all benefits
accorded unrepresented Executive Management employees of the City of Santa
Ana; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to evaluate the performance of
the Clerk of the Council for fiscal year 1981-82.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA:
1. That the City Council, as appointing authority for the Clerk
of the Council of the City of Santa Aha, has established performance criteria
and appraisal guidelines to be utilized in granting or withholding performance
bonuses.
2. That the City Council has duly evaluated the performance of
the Clerk of the Council and determined the extent to which performance
criteria has been met and what, if any, performance bonuses should be granted
to the Clerk of the Council.
3. That based upon the foregoing evaluation of performance, the
City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby grants to the Clerk of the
Council a special performance bonus in the amount of six (6%) percent of
her annual salary for fiscal year 1981-82.
