RESOLUTION NO. 83-50
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING A MIDBLOCK CROSSWALK ON
SANTA ANA BOULEVARD BETWEEN ROSS STREET AND,
BROADWAY
WHEREAS, Section 36-1115 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code provides
that the City Council may establish crosswalks between intersections, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Transportation Services finds that a cross-
walk is needed across Santa Ana Boulevard betweenRossStreet and Broadway to
serve the public and recommends its establishment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: That a midblock pederstrian crosswalk across
Santa Ana Boulevard, between Ross Street and Broadway in the City of
Santa Ana, California, is hereby established, and the Director of
Transportation Services is hereby authorized to mark the location of the cross-
walk by the placement of appropriate lines upon the pavement of Ross Street
from 446 feet to 472 feet east of the survey centerline of Ross Street,
measured along the centerline of Santa Ana Boulevard.
ADOPTED THIS 18th day of April , 1983.
