A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DECLARING BOLSA AVENUE BRIDGE AND HARBOR BOULEVARD BRIDGE
AT SANTA ANA RIVER; AND BRISTOL STREET BRIDGE AND FLOWER
STREET BRIDGE AT SANTIAGO CREEK IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
AS COUNTY HIGHWAYS DURING THE PERIOD OF IMPROVEMENT THEREOF
BY THE COUNTY OF ORANGE.
WHEREAS, the Bolsa Avenue Bridge and Harbor Boulevard Bridge at Santa
Ana River; and Bristol Street Bridge and Flower Street Bridge at Santiago Creek
in the City of Santa Ana are deemed to be highways of County -wide importance; and
WHEREAS, the County of Orange proposes to make minor improvements to
highways; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 83-1676 dated
November 15, 1983, the County has declared said portions of highways to be County
highways during the period of improvement by the County; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana concurs with said improvement of highways
by the County and desires to consent to the establishment of said portions of
highways as County highways during the period of said improvements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to the provisions of Section
1701, Article 3, Chapter 9, Division 2 of the Streets and Highways Code, the City
of Santa Ana does concur with the Orange County Board of Supervisors Resolution
No. 83-1676 dated November 15, 1983 establishing those portions of the highways
namely: Bolsa Avenue Bridge and Harbor Boulevard Bridge at Santa Ana River; and
Bristol Street Bridge and Flower Street Bridge at Santiago Creek in the City of
Santa Ana as County highways during the period of improvement by the County
of Orange;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to transmit to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange a certi-
fied copy of this Resolution.
