A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA DESIGNATING A CERTAIN PORTION OF WEST
SANTA ANA AS TPJ~NSPORTATION SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT
PROGPJ~M AREA E
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha finds and
determines that the certain portion of West Santa Ana specifically described
in Exhibit ~, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference is an area
where the transportation system may experience a significant reduction in the
level of Service unless corrective measures are instituted concurrent with
increased transportation demands; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish said area as a
transportation system improvement area in accordance with Section 8-44 for the
purpose of assisting in the funding of necessary transportation system improve-
ments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA:
l. The area specifically described in Exhibit B is hereby
designated as a transportation system improvement program area for purposes of
Section 8-44 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, to be known as "Transportation
System Improvement Program Area E".
2. All monies collected pursuant to Section 8-44 from Trans-
portation System Improvement Program Area E shall be held separate and apart
from other city funds and shall be deposited and expended in accordance with
Section l$-llO through 13-112 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code as amended by
Ordinance NS-1692, from and after the effective date of said ordinance.
