A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA DESIGNATING A CERTAIN PORTION OF EAST
SANTA ANA AS TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAM AREA F
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana finds and
determines that the certain portion of East Santa Ana specifically described
in Exhibit C, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference is an area
where the transportation system may experience a significant reduction in the
level of service unless corrective measures are instituted concurrent with
increased transportation demands; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish said area as a
transportation system improvement areain accordance with Section 8-44 for the
purpose of assisting in the funding of necessary transportation system improve-
ments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA:
1. The area specifically described in Exhibit C is hereby
designated as a transportation system improvement program area for purposes of
Section 8-44 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, to be known as "Transportation
System Improvement Program Area F".
2. All monies collected pursuant to Section 8-44 from Trans-
portation System Improvement Program Area F shall be held separate and apart
from other city funds and shall be deposited and expended in accordance with
Section 13-110 through 13-112 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code as amended by
Ordinance NS-1692, from and after the effective date of said ordinance.
