RESOLUTION NO. 84-25
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA ACCEPTING THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
SENIOR SHARED HOUSING GRANT FUNDS, AND AUTHORIZ-
ING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY
DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of
recognizes the need for housinG assistance for the
senior citizens, and
Santa Ana
community's
WHEREAS, funds have been established by the State of
California pursuant to Senate Bill 19, Chapter 1307, Statutes
of 1983, and are available through the California Department
of Housing and Community Development for matched fund grants
to local governments conducting Senior Shared Housing Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA:
1. The City Council authorizes the City Manager, on
behalf of the City of Santa Ana, to accept a $50,000 matching
fund grant from the California Department of Housing and
Community Development to further implement the City of Santa
Ana's Senior Shared HousinG Program.
2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to execute all necessary documents in regard to the matching
fund Grant and to act in connection with said grant and any
amendment thereto to implement said program.
ADOPTED this 19th day of March , 1984.
