RESOLUTION NO. 84-54
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA ENCOURAGING THE COUNTY
OF ORANGE AND OTHER GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES
TO GIVE PREFERENCE TO LEASING SPACE IN
DOWNTOWN SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, the County of Orange and other governmental
agencies operating in Orange County from time to time are in
need of leased office space to accommodate their operations
in Orange County; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is the county seat
of Orange County and, as such, the proper location for govern-
mental operations having county-wide scope and effect; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has succeeded in pro-
moting the rehabilitation of numerous buildings containing
office space in its downtown area in recent years;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA that the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Orange and the governing bodies of other governmental agencies
operating within Orange County are hereby encouraged to give
preference to the leasing of office space in downtown Santa Ana.
