RESOLUTION NO. 86-12
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
AMENDING THE CITY'S BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION
PLAN TO ADD THE NEW JOB CLASS TO CLASSIFY AND COMPENSATE
A NEW POSITION OF CABLE TELEVISION PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982 the City Council passed and adopted
Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the basic
Classification and Compensation Plan for Officers and Employees of the
City of Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City
of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain
a position classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules
and regulations and the approval of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, City Council has from time to time amended said
Resolution; and
WHEREAS, in order to properly classify and compensate a new
position authorized in the 1985-86 Annual Budget for the Cable
Television activity of the Communication and Marketing Division it is
now desired to establish a new class of employment at an appropriate
salary level.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA:
1. That Section 3 of Resolution NO. 82-110, as amended, is
hereby further amended by adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the new
class title of CABLE ~LEVISION PRODUCTION COORDINATOR and assigning
said new class to the following two-year salary adjustment schedule:

2. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after
February 1, 1986.
ADOPTED this 3rd day of February , 1986.
