A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING
PERMIT PARKING DISTRICT A

WHEREAS, ~suant to Article XI (commencing with Section
36-480) of Chapter of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, the City
Council of the City Santa Ana is authorized to adopt resolution~
establishing Permit lng Districts wherein parking restrictions
apply to all vehicles .t vehicles which have been issued parking
permits pursuant to said ticle; and
WHEREAS, this £ finds and determines that that certain
residential neighborhood loca' generally north of Seventeenth Street
between Flower and Ross S lnd more specifcially described herein-
below is in need of ~ Permit Pa! ng District in order to protect its
integrity against the of vehicular parking incidental to
commercial development on S Street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV
CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
1. Permit Parking District A mreby established, to
consist of both sides of the following portions:
(a) Flower Street, between the a~ley which is
immediately north of Seventeenth Street on the g~uth, and
Nineteenth Street on the north. ~
(b) Heliotrope Street, between th? wa~ immediately
north of Seventeenth Street on the south, and Ninete~th Street
on the north.
' (c) Greenleaf Street, between a line 185 f~t north
of Seventeenth Street on the south, and a line 450 feet no~th of
Nin6teenth Street on the north, both such distances measure~xfrom
the.end of the curb return. ~
(d) Nineteenth Street, between Flower Street on tb~
west and Ross Street on the east. ~x
2. No person shall park any vehicle~at any time
within Permit Parking District A except persons and vehicles
exempted from such parking restriction pursuant to the provisions
of Article XI (commencing with Section 36-480) of Chapter 36
of the Santa Ana Municipal Code.

3. The Executive Director of the Public Services Agency
is )rized and directed to place signs or markings in Permit
Parkin¢ )istrict A giving adequate notice of the parking restriction
imposed No violation of the Santa Ana Municipal Code arising
