RESOLUTION NO. 86-80
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO PARTICIPATE
IN THE ENERGY CONSERVATION ASSISTANCE
LOAN PROGRAM OF THE CALIFORNIA ENERGY
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, The California Energy Commission administers
an Energy Conservation Assistance Loan Program whereby loans are
provided to local governments, which loans are to be used to
finance energy conservation-related projects, and which loans are
to be repaid from the Energy Costs Savings accruing therefrom.
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to participate
in said Program for purposes of converting existing pedestrian
traffic signal modules to state-of-the-art energy-efficient units.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City of Santa Ana is hereby authorized to
participate in the Energy Conservation Assistance Loan Program
administered by the California Energy Commission.
2. The Executive Director of the Public Services
Agency of the City of Santa Ana is hereby appointed the authorized
representative of the City of Santa Ana for all purposes of the
City's participation in the said Program.
