A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~g CITY O~
ESTABLISHING THE EXEMPT MANAGEMENT CLASS OF MANAGEMENT ~. ~o~-~/~
INTERN IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY MANAGER
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
1. That a new exempt class of temporary MANAGEMENT INTERN is hereby
established in the Office of the City Manager as a special category of
employment separate and distinct from other categories of employment in the City
as established under the City's Basic Compensation and Pay Plan.
2. That the salary for said exempt class of temporary Management Intern is
hereby fixed and established at the special hourly rate range of $5.25 - $6.00 -
$6.75 - $7.45 - $8.00.
3. That said salary rates shall be paid in the same manner and at the same
time as other salaries in the City are paid.
4. That incumbents of said exempt class will be temporary employees of the
City and, as such, shall not be eligible to receive any employee benefits as are
now or may be granted employees of other categories of employment in the City
with the exception of coverage under the City's workers' compensation insurance
programs.
5. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after February 4, 1985.
