RESOLUTION NO. 85-4]
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING AN
APPLICATION TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
FOR SENIOR SHARED HOUSING GRANT FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the
recognizes the need for housing assistance

WHEREAS, funds have been established by the State
of California pursuant to Senate Bill 2160, Chapter 1630 of
1984 Health and Safety Code, Section 50512 et.seq., and are
available through the California Department of Housing and
Community Development for matched fund grants to local
governments conducting Senior Shared Housing Programs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Council authorized the application for
$30,000 in matched funds for the operation of the Senior Shared
Housing Program from May 1986 to June 1987, from the California
Department of Housing and Community Development to further
implement the City of Santa Ana's Senior Shared Housing Program.
2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to execute all necessary documents in regard to the application
for matching grant funds.
ADOPTED this 4th day of March , 1985.
