A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO ADD THE CLASS TITLE OF
LEGISLATIVE ANALYST TO THE CITY'S BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND
COMPENSATION PLAN
WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982 the City Council passed and
adopted Resolution NO. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the basic
Classification and Compensation Plan for Officers and Employees of
the City of Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the
City of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and
maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil service
rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council; and
WHEREAS~ City Council has from time to time amended said
Resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to add a new class title for the
purpose of classifying and setting an appropriate salary level for a
newly authorized position in the Intergovernmental Relations Office.
NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA:
1. That Section 3 of Resolution NO. 82-110, as amended, is
hereby further amended by adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the
class title of Legislative Analyst at Salary Rate Range No. 513, $2548
to $3098 per month.
