A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO ADD THE NEW CLASS OF
CIRCULATION SERVICES SUPERVISOR TO THE CITY'S BASIC
CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN
WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982 the City Council passed and adopted
Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the basic Classification
and Compensation Plan for Officers and Employees of the City of Santa Ana;
and
WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of
Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a
position classification and pay plan subject ot civil service rules and
regulations and the approval of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution
and
WHEREAS, in order to properly classify and compensate an improperly
classified supervisory position in the Library's central circulation
section it ia now desired to establish a new classification at an
appropriate salary level.
NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA:
1. That Section 3 of Resolution NO. 82-110, as amended, is hereby
further amended by adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the new class
title of CIRCULATION SERVICES SUPERVISOR at Salary Rate Range NO. 444,
$1820 to $2212 per month.
