RESOLUTION NO. 85- 88
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING AN URBAN
DEVELOPMENT ACTION GRANT (UDAG) APPLICATION
IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,000,000 RELATED TO THE
A-8 REDEVELOPMENT SITE (FIESTA MARKETPLACE)
IN THE CITY AND DIRECTING AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO FILE THE APPLICATION
WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND
URBAN DEVELOPMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Council does hereby approve an Urban Develop-
ment Action Grant (UDAG) Application, a copy of which is on file
in the office of the Clerk of the Council, under Section 119 of
Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as
amended, in an amount of $1,000,000 related to the redevelopment
of the A-8 site (Fiesta Marketplace) on East Fourth Street.
2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to
submit said Application to the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development.
3. The City Manager is also hereby authorized and directed
to take such actions as are reasonably necessary in connection
with meeting the terms and conditions contained in such Applica-
tion and to provide such additional information as may be required.
