A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO ADD
THE NEW CLASS OF JOB DEVELOPER TO THE CITY'S
BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN
WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and
adopted Resolution No. 82-110, revising and re-establishing the Basic
Compensation Plan for all Officers and employees of the City of Santa Aha;
and
WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City
of Santa Aha requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a
position classification and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and
Regulations and the approval of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said
classification and pay plan; and
WHEREAS, in order to properly classify and compensate a new
position authorized to assist in the implementation and operation of the
City's Job Training Partnership Act Title II-A Programs for Fiscal Year
1985-86, it is now desired to add a new class title at an appropriate
salary level to said class and pay plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA:
1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, is
hereby further amended by addin~ in proper alphabetical sequence, the
new class title of Job Developer at Salary Range No. 385, $1365-$1659 per
month.
2. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after August
12, 1985.
