RESOLUTION NO. 85- 140
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ORDERING
FORECLOSURE OF DELINQUENT ASSESSMENTS
WHEREAS, there has heretofore been duly and regularly
issued and recorded an assessment for the construction of park-
ing facilities under Resolution of Intention No. 81-119 of the
City Council of the City of Santa Ana, passed and adopted on
the 20th day of July, 1981; and
WHEREAS, certain installments of said assessment have
not been paid at any time; and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of Section 8830 of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, this City
Council is authorized, not later than four years after the due
date of the last installment of principal, to order the same to
be collected by an action brought in the Superior Court to fore-
close the lien thereof; and
WHEREAS, certain installments on Bond NO.
been, and still are, delinquent, and the provision

WHEREAS, the City has been required to advance funds
in order to pay the interest on said bonds which became due on
July 2, 1983, January 2, 1984, July 2, 1984, January 2, 1985
and July 2, 1985 in order to avoid default in the payment of
said bonds.
OF THE
NOW, THEREFORE,
CITY OF SANTA ANA,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
AS FOLLOWS:

The firm of Rutan & Tucker, Attorneys at Law, are
hereby authorized and directed to institute all necessary
actions in the name of the City of Santa Ana to foreclose the
liens of all delinquent assessments for the aforesaid improve-
ments up to the date of this Resolution, and covered by Bond
No. 1-630 of the City of Santa Ana.
