A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING
~A UNIFORM SCHEDULE OF FEES AND
REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 86-82 and 86-81.

Ho,
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha performs special services for the benefit of
a limited number of persons to whom such services are of value; and
WHEREAS, the cost of rendering such services should be borne by that limited
group who are the beneficiaries rather than the citizenry at large; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion also that the charges
established for such services should equate to the direct cost thereof to the
City of Santa Aha;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA:
That~the follo~ng fees for services and miscellaneous sales are hereby fixed and
established, to be effective from and after the first day of July, 1987:

Hazardous Materials Release Response Plans and Inventories
~ange Determination:
For the purposes of this Resolution, each business in the City of Santa Aha
which is required to submit a business plan and/or inventory pursuant to the
Health and Safety Code, Chapter 6.95 of Division 20, shall be assigned a
"range" consisting of a "range-number" and a "range-letter" determined as
follows:
Range-Letter: The range-letter of a business shall be based upon the total
number of hazardous substance and hazardous w~ste categories listed on the
inventory of the business which is submitted to the City in accordance ~th
the following schedule:

Charges For:
Classes, Leisure and Instructional:
* For group activities, those groups for ~hich at least 51% of participants
either live or work in the City of Santa Ana, the resident rate shall be
applied.
From time to time, privately taught leisure and instructional classes will be
offered by various agency divisions. The announcement of same will be made by
printed fliers or in the quarterly Program Booklet mailed to each residence in
the City. programs so offered will be conducted on a 4 to 10 woek format.
Charges for each class offered will be established by the Executive Director,
Recreation and Community Services Agency. The City of Santa Ana will receive 30%
of the total fees collected from each of these leisure of instructional classes.

NOTES: 1.
Auditorium and all meeting room facilities may be reserved by any
group or organization, when dates are available. Official City
meetings, hearings or City sponsored activities will receive booking
priority on any unbooked date.
2. A cleaning deposit of $100 will be required for each Meeting Room
facility listed below, in addition to the rental charge.
Meeting Room Rental charges listed below are based upon events
charging no admission fee. Functions selling tickets for a set fee
or a donation will be charged the rates listed below (as a minimum)
or 10% of gross admission fees or donations collected, whichever is
greater.

Copies of maps, documents, graphs· or special work may be furnished upon the
payment of the cost of printing and preparation. For such items for ~hich a
regular established price in unavailable· the Department Head, in collaboration
with the Director of Finance and Management Services, may establish a price
consistent with the cost of printing and preparation thereof. The Director of
Finance and Management Services shall report such exceptions to the City Manager.
It shall be the responsibility of the City Manager to review such costs annually
and make such recommendations to the City Council as required to keep the charges
consistent wi th the costs. All governmental agencies and their official
representatives shall be exempt from paying these charges for single copies for
official use.
Resolution No. 86-82· adopted on September 2, lg86 is repealed.
Resolution No. 86-81· adopted on August 18, 1986 is repealed.
