RESOLUTION NO. 87-76
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE PUBLIC WORKS
AGENCY TO APPLY FOR PEDESTRIAN FACILI-
TIES FUNDS UNDER SENATE BILL 821, AND TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR THE USE OF SUCH
FUNDS, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, Senate Bill 821 provides that 2 percent of
each county's total Transportation Fund be annually set aside
and used to fund the development of bicycle and pedestrian
facilities; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA that the Exeutive Director of the Public
Works Agency of the City of Santa Ana is hereby authorized to
apply, on behalf of the City of Santa Ana, for all funds
available to the City of Santa Ana for pedestrian facilities
under Senate Bill 821, and to take all actions and sign all
documents pertaining to such application on behalf of the
City of Santa Ana, and to execute, on behalf of the City of
Santa Ana, an agreement for the use of such funds as may be
granted to the City of Santa Ana.
ADOPTED this 8th day of September , 1987.
