A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF %~HE CITY OF SANTA ANA authorizing
the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute an amendment to Supplement No. 32 to
Local Agency/State Agreement No. 07-5063; Federal Aid Urban (FAU) Systems Pro-
jects to fund Arterial Street Reconstruction of projects with available FAU
funds).
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is in the process of preliminary engi-
neering for a street widening project on Bristol Street fram Warner Avenue to
WHEREAS, this project is necessary for increasing vol~nes of traffic
on Bristol Street; and,
WHEREAS, the City entered into Supplement No. 32 to A~reement No.
07-5063 Local Agency Federal Aid Urban System Project on December 19, 1977 allo-
cating FAU funds to the widening of Bristol Street; and,
WHEREAS, the City wishes to amend its original agreement with the
Local A~ency Federal Aid Urban System to utilize available FAU funds for the
cc~pletion of arterial street reconstruction projects within City limits.
WHEREAS, it is the mutual desire of the City of Santa Ana, the OCTC
and the FHWA to expedite the timely expenditure of FAU funds on eligible trans-
portation projects within the Santa Ana City Limits; and,
WHEREAS, an emendment approved by the Santa Ana City Council is
required by the Orange County Transportation C~mLission in order to authorize
the amended use of these funds.

NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Santa ADZ that the Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized and directed to
execute an amendment of said agreement to fund arterial reconstruction work
within the City of Santa Ana.
