HomeMy WebLinkAbout87-096499 SOLU ZO NO. 2V- q& A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LEASE DATED MAY 10, 1966 BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND THE ORANGE COUNTY CIVIC CENTER AUTHORITY. WHEREAS, the City currently leases certain property pursuant to a Civic Center Lease dated as of May 10, 1966 (the "Civic Center Lease"), by and between the City and the Orange County Civic Center Authority (the "Authority"); and WHEREAS, the City and the Authority desire to amend said Civic Center Lease to add to the description of property leased thereunder certain additional property; and NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha does hereby resolve as follows: Section 1. The Amendment to Civic Center Lease, attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein, is hereby approved. Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its date of adoption. ADOPTED this 21st day of December, 1987. AMENDMENT TO CIVIC CENTER LEASE BETWEEN CITY OF SANTA ANA AND ORANGE COUNTY CIVIC CENTER AUTHORITY DATED AS OF DECEMBER 1, 1987 94897.3.1288.01:6 502 AMENDMENT TO CIVIC CENTER LEASE This Amendment to civic Center Lease, dated for convenience as of December 1, 1987 (herein called the "Lease") by and between the City of Santa Aha, a municipal corporation, duly organized and exist- ing under the laws of the State of California (herein called the "city") and the Orange County Civic Center Authority (herein called the "Authority"), a public entity and agency, duly organized and existing pursuant to an Agreement entitled "Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement Between the City of Santa Aha and the County of orange Creating the Orange County Civic Center Authority", dated January 17, 1966 (herein called the "Agreement"); WITNESSETH That in consideration of the m~tual promises and agreements contained in the Agreement, the parties hereto agree as follows: Section 1. Demised Premises. Section 1 of the civic Center Lease dated as of May 10, '1966, by and betweeh'the City and the Authority recorded November 20, ~970 at Book 9466, Page 381, is amended to add to the description of the property leased thereunder all that property described in Exhibit A hereto.
