HomeMy WebLinkAbout88-061379 REL:mb(22) 7/15/88 Rev. 8/16/88 RESOLUTION NO. 88-6] A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA (GPA 88-4) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana, after duly noticed public hearing, approved amendments to the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed and considered the initial environmental study and negative declaration pre- pared for such proposed General Plan amendments; and WHEREAS, this Council, after duly noticed public hear- ing, concurs in the Planning Commission's approval of said General Plan amendments; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: not have negative approved. The adoption of the said General Plan amendments will a significant effect on the environment, and the declaration prepared for said amendments is hereby 2. The "Land Use Plan" of the Land Use Element of the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana is hereby amended in the following particulars: (a) Those areas of the city shown as Ia through Ie on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein, are redes- ignated from one land use category to another as follows: (1) Area Ia is redesignated from the "Multi-Use Corridor" category to the "General Business District" category. (2) Area Ib is redesignated from the "Multi-Use Corridor" category to the "Medium Density Residential" category. (3) Area Ic is redesignated from the "Multi-Use Corridor" category to the "General Business District" category. (4) Area Id is redesignated from the "Low Density Residential" category to the "General Business District" category. (5) Area Ie is redesignated from the "Low Density Residential" category to the "General Business District" category. (b) That area of the city shown as 2 on Exhibit B, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is redesignated from the "Low Density Residential" land use category to the "General Business District" category. RESOLUTION NO. 88-6] PAGE TWO (C) That area of the city shown as 3c on Exhibit C, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is redesignated from one land use category to another as follows: Area 3c is redesignated from the "Multi-Use Corridor" category to the "Industrial" category. (d) Those areas of the city shown as 5a and 5b on Exhibit D, attached hereto and incorporated herein, are ~edesig- nated from one land use category to another as follows: (1) Area 5a is redesignated from the "Low Density Residential" category to the "General Business District" category. (2) Area 5b is redesignated from the "Low Density Residential" category to the "General Business District" category. (e) Those areas of the city shown as 6a and 6c on Exhibit E, attached hereto and incorporated herein, are redesig- nated from one land use category to another as follows: (i) Business District" dential" category. (2) Area 9b is redesignated from the "Medium High Density Residential" and "Industrial" categories to the "General Business District" category. (h) That area of the city shown as 10 on Exhibit H, attached hereto ~and incorporated herein, is redesignated from the "Medium Density Residential" land use category to the "General Business District" land use category. (i) Those areas of the city shown as lla and llb on Exhibit I, attached hereto and incorporated herein, are redesig- nated from one land use category to another as follows: (1) Area lla is redesignated from the "Low Density Residential" category to the "General Business District" category. (2) Area llb is redesignated from the "Low Density Residential" category to the "General Business District" category. (j) That area of the city shown as 12 on Exhibit J, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is redesignated from the "General Business District" category to the "Industrial" category.
