A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING
RESOLUTIONS 86-49, 86-50 AND 86-65
DESIGNATING VACATION ACCRUAL FOR THE
OFFICE OF CITY MANAGER, CITY
ATTORNEY AND CLERK OF THE COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, Section 701 of the City Charter of the City
of Santa Ana authorizes the City Council to appoint officers of
City Manager, City Attorney and Clerk of the Council; and,
WHEREAS, on July 7, 1986, the City Council passed and
adopted Resolution no. 86-65; and on June 17, 1986, passed and
adopted Resolution no. 86-49 and Resolution no. 86-50 fixing
and establishing the compensation for City Manager, City
Attorney and Clerk of the Council respectively; and,
to allow

WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend these resolutions
the officers of the City of Santa Ana to accrue
to an unlimited level.
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Santa
1. Section (g) of Resolutions 86-49, 86-50 and 86-65
are hereby amended to read as follows:
"(g) Vacation and Option said officer
shall receive vacation benefits and
vacation pay option, as provided in the
class designated as Executive Management,
except may accrue earned vacation time to
an unlimited level.
2. Except as amended by this Resolution, all other
provisions of Resolutions nos. 86-49, 86-50 and 86-65 shall
remain in full force and effect.
