RESOLUTION NO. 89-3
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA REQUESTING THE COUNI~
OF ORANGE TO INCLUDE WITHIN THE ARTERIAL
HIGH%qAY FINANCING PROGRAM THE REPAIR AND
RESURFACING OF CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA
~EREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to improve certain
streets within the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orar~e
intends to provide in the County budget of the Special Road Improvement Fund
for Fiscal Year 1989-90 a s~n of money for the improvement of streets within
the incorporated cities of the County in accordance with the Orange County
Arterial Highway Financing Program,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA;
That the City of Santa Ana does hereby request the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Orange to allocate to the City of Santa Ana in
said b~dget for Fiscal Year 1989-90, fr(m~ the County funds, the ~ount of
$1,008,300 for the repair and resurfacing of certain streets, as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Orange is hereby requested to find that said w~rk, in the manner
provided, is in the general interest of the County.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that by this Resolution, the City of
Santa ~na agrees with the basic concepts of the Arterial Highway Financing
progr~; and further agrees that its share of the cos~ of improvements will be
available for the Fiscal Year 1989-90.
