RESOLUTION NO. 89-5
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE
INSTALLATION OF PARKING METERS IN THE
MUNICIPAL PUBLIC PARKING LOT LOCATED
ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THIRD STREET EAST
OF BUSH STREET.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. Pursuant to section 22519 of the California Vehicle Code
and section 36-431, the City Council hereby declares the necessity
for the use of parking meters on the municipal public parking lot
located on the north side of Third Street east of Bush Street,
and authorizes and directs the Executive Director of the Community
Development Agency of the City of Santa Ana to cause the installa-
tion of such parking meters on said parking lot, together with
appropriate signs giving notice of metered parking restrictions
applicable to said parking lot pursuant to section 36-432 of the
Santa Ana Municipal Code and this resolution.
2. The fee charged for parking in any metered parking
space on the abovesaid parking lot shall be $0.05 for each twelve
minutes or $0.25 per hour.
3. The parking meter restrictions on the abovesaid parking
lot shall be effective only between the hours of eight o'clock
(8:00) a.m. and eight o'clock (8:00) p.mo on Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of each week, except
such parking restrictions shall not be operative on any legal
holiday.
